The film is made of PET or TPH – both transparent, durable plastics that repel water and oil. PET variants come in different thicknesses (2mil and 4mil) provide basic protection and are particularly economical. TPH films are even more robust and come with various surface finishes: The glossy variant reflects light and looks elegant, while the matte version appears more natural and makes fingerprints less visible. There are specialized variants for real wood furniture that preserve the wood grain, and specific versions for modern surfaces such as natural stone (ceramic/ceramic tiles). The film can be easily cut to size and applied – if needed, with the included tools such as a squeegee and cutting knife.
