The descent makes the knees weak – and every step on loose rocks costs twice as much energy.
Anyone who walks downhill and feels their legs getting heavier knows this feeling: every step on uneven ground requires concentration, and the joints are working overtime. The TrekPixin trekking poles made from aluminum alloy distribute body weight across four contact points, relieving pressure on the hands and arms. The poles weigh 315 g and collapse to 53 cm, allowing for quick attachment to your backpack – they are ready to use on your next summit climb without being in the way. The result: more control on any terrain, less effort, and a noticeably calmer gait even on wet root paths.
Advantages
No more hesitation on uneven ground: Thanks to the robust steel tip and stable aluminum body, you can find secure footing on snow, gravel, and moist forest floors – without constantly watching for the next secure step.
No annoying hauling between the trail and luggage: At just 315 g and a packed size of 53 cm, the poles fit in any travel backpack or suitcase – you simply take them with you without needing extra space.
No slipping of the set length on the way: The triple outer locking system with safety screws reliably holds the selected height between 95 cm and 110 cm – you don't have to constantly check if the poles are giving way.

Pro tip: When going downhill, set the poles 5–8 cm longer than when climbing up – this transfers more pressure to the arms and noticeably relieves the thigh muscles on long descents.
